These terms outline how you may use our website, book tables and workshops, and what responsibilities both sides carry. Please read them before making a reservation.
Un Grain de Sel operates a market restaurant and a culinary workshop space. Our website allows you to view the weekly menu, check availability for lunch and dinner service, and reserve a place in our Saturday morning cooking classes. We also host private dinners and business lunches in our vaulted dining room upon request. All services are provided in accordance with Malaysian food safety and hospitality regulations.
Table reservations and workshop bookings are confirmed through our online form or by phone. For groups of six or more, we ask for a confirmation at least 48 hours in advance. If you need to cancel a workshop place, please notify us no later than 24 hours before the session starts so we can offer the spot to someone on the waiting list. Late cancellations may affect future booking priority.
Saturday workshops are hands-on sessions where participants handle fresh produce, knives, and kitchen equipment. You must be at least 16 years old to attend unaccompanied. We provide aprons and all necessary tools, but we ask that you wear closed-toe shoes and tie back long hair. Our chef instructor will give a safety briefing at the start of each session, and participants are expected to follow it throughout the class.
Our menu changes weekly based on what local producers deliver. We do our best to label dishes with common allergens, but cross-contact in a busy kitchen is possible. If you have a severe allergy or a specific dietary requirement, please tell us when booking and confirm it with our team on arrival. We can adapt most dishes, but we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.
We take reasonable care to keep our premises safe and our food properly prepared. However, you are responsible for your own belongings while on site and for behaving respectfully toward staff and other guests. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who is disruptive, intoxicated, or otherwise compromises the comfort of others. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question.
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our operations or legal requirements.
